ROOF-TECH is a small, family owned company with two partners that offers its customers decades of combined roofing industry experience:
began working in the roofing industry in 1977. He has vast experience in all aspects of roofing (new construction, re-roofing, roofing repairs, etc.). In 1998 he joined ROOF-TECH as a partner with Daryl Mathis. He has trained the staff of ROOF-TECH in techniques that minimize invasiveness to the roof, and therefore causes minimal interruption to the home owner's normal routine. Darrell manages work production and is involved in the evaluation of virtually every job before it is started.
started in the roofing industry in 1988. In 1993 he began working for ROOF-TECH's predecessor (it had been part of a national franchise organization) as a manager. He purchased the company in 1996, and then in 1998 he joined in partnership with Darrell Fitzgerald to re-form the company into its present state. Daryl has 40 years experience in business management. He manages the internal operations of the company which includes: sales, scheduling, and administration.
Crew Leaders:
Chase became a field technician in 2006. His father, Darrell (co-owner of Roof-Tech) was his mentor from the time he was a child.
In 2012, Chase had grown into such a skilled technician that he began running his own crew. Four years later (2016), he became the Senior Crew Leader – running a crew and helping coordinate the field operations of the company.
Michael began working for Roof-Tech in 2011 as a roofing technician assistant. Over the next few years, Michael learned more & more about the trade and fine-tuned his skills. In 2016 he received a much-deserved promotion to a Crew Leader. Due to Michael’s diligence and detail oriented & kind nature, he became our primary field trainer in 2018 (while also still leading a crew). In addition to physically fixing roof leaks, Michael has come to be very skilled at diagnosing leaks, as well as problem solving the best fix for troublesome roof leaks.
David has been associated with Roof-Tech for over 14 years (he is one of the sons of Daryl Mathis, one of Roof-Tech’s owners). He worked as a field technician over the summers of his Junior and Senior year of high school.
When one of our crew leaders had to take an extended medical leave in 2021, David returned to working with us. This time as a crew leader. David’s attention to detail, variety of skills, and great training ensures excellent quality repairs for the homeowners we serve.
